As a multi generational farming family the Critch family have built their business into a sustainable cropping business. The history of the farm goes back to Sheep farming with ‘ Nan’ and ‘Pop’ creating the initial legacy of what has become a farm with three generations living on the farm, a Baa Sheep, horses of various age and use as well as four dogs, all useless. On a more important level the business is operated with a board structure as The Critch Enterprise. It is made up of all participating family members as well as an independent chairman. This professional approach was first instigated in 2009 by mum and dad as a tried and proven method of managing an expanding family business. Since adopting this approach we have seen improvements in our problem solving ability and our business acumen. With the constant rigours of agriculture we hope this system will hold us in good stead into the future.
